Coach Peter is a Ph.D. student, has been a USCF-rated player since 1976, and was an undefeated starting player for his Stuyvesant High School chess team. Coach Peter has decades of teaching experience and has taught hundreds of kids for Make Your Move Chess Academy during the past year. His teaching philosophy is for kids not only to learn how to play chess but also to create the same enthusiasm that he has for the Game of Kings.
