Coach Rich is a retired NYC teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching and coaching students in a variety of sports and after-school activities. He was instrumental in bringing a chess program to his school, and through Chess in the Schools, he secured a full chess program for his Bronx school. Rich has been a dedicated chess teacher for over 10 years, introducing the game to hundreds of students and helping them develop critical thinking and confidence. He considers himself a lifelong educator who takes great joy in teaching chess and watching students build enthusiasm and a genuine love for the game.
